From my very first camera, an old Kodak Instantmatic, to my first SLR, I've had the privilege to discover the joy of photography: as a hobby, a tool to record memories and a means to tell a story. Photography has come a long way since the early days of prints to the vivid color saturation of Velvia and Kodachrome slide films. With the advent of the digital age and the Internet, photography took on a whole new meaning and expanded our ability to shoot in a way that traditional film would have imposed a limit.
My love of traveling and my current affair with photojournalism has allowed me to record images and tell stories that both inspired and intrigued me. To date, I’ve had the privilege to work with AFP, Greenpeace and various publications in China and beyond.
I will continue to post photos as and when I find the time to. Do get in touch with me if you have any questions and meanwhile, I hope you will find the photos as interesting as when I saw them through the lens and pressed that shutter.
It's not always easy to stand aside and be unable to do anything except record the sufferings around one. - Robert Capa
